The short version

Platinum Elite is the highest membership tier in CoverCapy's dental directory. It is $1,499 per month, limited at the county level so only a small number of practices hold it in any market, and it requires a practice to already be Capy Accredited. It carries the widest 18-mile search reach, top-of-directory placement, and premium positioning to benefit-ready PPO patients. It is granted by review, not by payment alone.

What It Is

The top of the CoverCapy hierarchy

CoverCapy ranks practices in four levels: an unclaimed listing, a claimed profile, a Capy Accredited office, and Platinum Elite. Platinum Elite sits at the very top.

It is the highest and most selective level of Capy Accreditation, reserved for offices with advanced technology, a proven patient experience, and the infrastructure to run premium CoverCapy programs well. It is reviewed and limited. It is not a license, and it is not a guarantee of any outcome.

For the right practice, it is a members-club position: a small, curated group at the top of the market, presented with the prestige that placement deserves.

County-level exclusivity

A premium position only holds value when it stays rare. Platinum Elite is limited by geography and local market density, so only a small number of practices can hold it in a given county.

The strongest dental directories and the best marketing partners have learned the same lesson: when one practice per area gets the premium slot, that slot is worth something. Most large PPO directories list everyone by ZIP and treat every office the same. Platinum Elite does the opposite.

When a county already has its Platinum Elite practices, the market is full. New applicants join a review queue and are considered as places open. You are not buying a slot, you are being reviewed for one of a limited number of them.

Selection considers technology readiness, patient trust, service capability, market participation, and existing Platinum presence in your area.

One county. A short list.

Platinum Elite is selective and may be limited by geography, local market density, and current member availability. Not every market will have an open place at a given time.

When your county is open, a place can be reviewed. When it is full, you join the queue until one frees up.
What It Buys

What Platinum Elite gives a practice

The widest reach, the top placement, and the premium positioning that comes with the highest tier.

18 mile reach

The widest search radius

Platinum Elite reaches 18 miles, the widest in CoverCapy. Free listings reach 8 miles and Capy Accredited reaches 10. A Platinum office can appear to patients across a broader area when they search for a PPO dentist.

Top-of-directory placement

As the highest tier, a Platinum Elite office is eligible for the strongest, clearly labeled placement in CoverCapy search, with premium visibility at the top of the list.

Premium positioning

A black-card profile at the top of the market. The presentation matches the position, so a high-end practice looks like one the moment a patient sees it.

Structured CoverCapy programs

Platinum Elite practices are eligible to participate in structured CoverCapy programs and featured campaigns built for premium offices with the chair time and staffing to support them.

Benefit-ready patient traffic

More exposure to coverage-aware, benefit-ready PPO patients at the moment they are choosing which practice to call, the audience CoverCapy is built around.

A reviewed, trusted signal

Platinum Elite is granted by review, so the badge means something. Patients see a credential that a small number of practices in their county actually hold.

Eligibility

You must be Capy Accredited first

Platinum Elite is the highest level of Capy Accreditation, so it sits on top of the credential, not beside it.

Step one is always Capy Accreditation. A practice must already be Capy Accredited before it can progress to Platinum Elite review.

From there, the Platinum review looks for the capabilities and infrastructure to deliver premium programs well:

  • iTero scanning
  • Advanced diagnostics, CBCT strongly preferred
  • Same day crown technology preferred
  • In office crown milling preferred
  • Invisalign or clear aligner capability
  • Cosmetic dentistry and veneers
  • Implant and full mouth rehabilitation
  • TMJ and therapeutic Botox
  • Digital smile planning
  • In house whitening and retainer workflows
  • Chair time and staffing for promotions
  • Verified patient testimonials may be requested
  • Ability to participate in structured CoverCapy programs

Platinum Elite is reviewed and limited. It is not available by payment alone. Offices are assessed for capability, patient experience, and the infrastructure to deliver premium programs well, and a place must be open in your county.

Questions

Platinum Elite, answered

What is a Platinum Elite dentist?
A Platinum Elite dentist holds the highest membership tier in CoverCapy's directory. It is the top level of Capy Accreditation, limited at the county level, and reserved for practices with advanced technology and a proven patient experience. It carries premium placement and the widest search reach in the platform.
How much does Platinum Elite cost?
Platinum Elite is $1,499 per month. It is the highest CoverCapy tier, above the free listing and Capy Accredited membership. The price reflects county-limited exclusivity, top directory placement, an 18-mile search reach, and eligibility for structured CoverCapy programs. It is granted by review, not by payment alone.
Do I have to be Capy Accredited first?
Yes. Platinum Elite is the highest level of Capy Accreditation, so a practice must already be Capy Accredited before it can progress to Platinum Elite. The review then assesses technology, patient experience, and the infrastructure to deliver premium CoverCapy programs well.
What does county-level exclusivity mean?
Platinum Elite is limited by geography and local market density, so only a small number of practices can hold it in a given county. When a market is full, new applicants join a review queue. Exclusivity is what keeps the tier meaningful, so it is intentionally scarce.
What is the search radius for Platinum Elite?
Platinum Elite carries an 18-mile search reach, the widest in CoverCapy. Free listings reach 8 miles and Capy Accredited reaches 10 miles. A wider radius means a Platinum office can appear to patients across a broader area when they search for a PPO dentist.
Does Platinum Elite guarantee more patients or a top ranking position?
No. Platinum Elite carries premium, clearly labeled placement and the widest reach, but CoverCapy does not promise a specific ranking position, a number of patients, or new revenue. Where an office appears is influenced by status, profile completeness, local availability, patient trust indicators, and participation.
How do I qualify and apply for Platinum Elite?
First become Capy Accredited through CoverCapy. From there, ask about Platinum Elite. The review assesses technology such as required iTero scanning, advanced diagnostics, cosmetic and implant capability, patient trust, and program readiness, and confirms whether a place is open in your county.
Is Platinum Elite a dental license or certification?
No. Platinum Elite is a private CoverCapy credential and directory tier. It is not a government certification or a dental board license and does not replace either. It does not guarantee a clinical outcome. It signals a reviewed, technology forward, premium practice inside CoverCapy.
