The short version
Platinum Elite is the highest membership tier in CoverCapy's dental directory. It is $1,499 per month, limited at the county level so only a small number of practices hold it in any market, and it requires a practice to already be Capy Accredited. It carries the widest 18-mile search reach, top-of-directory placement, and premium positioning to benefit-ready PPO patients. It is granted by review, not by payment alone.
The top of the CoverCapy hierarchy
CoverCapy ranks practices in four levels: an unclaimed listing, a claimed profile, a Capy Accredited office, and Platinum Elite. Platinum Elite sits at the very top.
It is the highest and most selective level of Capy Accreditation, reserved for offices with advanced technology, a proven patient experience, and the infrastructure to run premium CoverCapy programs well. It is reviewed and limited. It is not a license, and it is not a guarantee of any outcome.
For the right practice, it is a members-club position: a small, curated group at the top of the market, presented with the prestige that placement deserves.
What the tier is
County-level exclusivity
A premium position only holds value when it stays rare. Platinum Elite is limited by geography and local market density, so only a small number of practices can hold it in a given county.
The strongest dental directories and the best marketing partners have learned the same lesson: when one practice per area gets the premium slot, that slot is worth something. Most large PPO directories list everyone by ZIP and treat every office the same. Platinum Elite does the opposite.
When a county already has its Platinum Elite practices, the market is full. New applicants join a review queue and are considered as places open. You are not buying a slot, you are being reviewed for one of a limited number of them.
Selection considers technology readiness, patient trust, service capability, market participation, and existing Platinum presence in your area.

As the highest tier, a Platinum Elite office is eligible for the strongest, clearly labeled placement in CoverCapy search, with premium visibility at the top of the list.
Premium positioning
A black-card profile at the top of the market. The presentation matches the position, so a high-end practice looks like one the moment a patient sees it.
Structured CoverCapy programs
Platinum Elite practices are eligible to participate in structured CoverCapy programs and featured campaigns built for premium offices with the chair time and staffing to support them.

A reviewed, trusted signal
Platinum Elite is granted by review, so the badge means something. Patients see a credential that a small number of practices in their county actually hold.
You must be Capy Accredited first
Platinum Elite is the highest level of Capy Accreditation, so it sits on top of the credential, not beside it.
Step one is always Capy Accreditation. A practice must already be Capy Accredited before it can progress to Platinum Elite review.
From there, the Platinum review looks for the capabilities and infrastructure to deliver premium programs well:

- Verified patient testimonials may be requested
